Going to the NASP convention and need SCECH's?

MICHIGAN GET-TOGETHER

We started a tradition of planning a Michigan get-together during the NASP Convention several years ago and it's definitely taken hold! So, if you're coming to Boston next week, we're planning a Happy Hour Gathering at Yard House (in the Marriott Copley Place) at 6:00 PM Tuesday evening. Hope to see you there!

SCECHs for 2022 NASP CONVENTION ATTENDEES

NASP will be holding its 2022 annual convention in-person next week in Boston. Participants have access to 1,200 peer reviewed presentations. Sessions throughout the conference are designed to provide school psychologists with the most up-to-date information in the field. Live sessions relate to the convention theme, “Engaging Hearts and Minds”, and are presented by leading international experts who are invited to speak by the NASP Convention Committee. The live sessions will cover a variety of ongoing and emerging issues relevant to school psychologists, including: academic assessments and interventions, consultation, ethics and law, family-school collaboration, grieving students following COVID-19, mental health services, resilience in youth, social justice and equity issues, supporting LGBTQ+ youth, and trauma-informed care. Sessions throughout the conference are designed to provide school psychologists with the most up-to-date information in the field. In person attendees have the option to attend: featured sessions, interest group networking sessions, meetings, mini skills presentations, paper and poster presentations, special sessions, practitioner conversation sessions, symposium presentations, documented sessions, and convention workshops.

MASP members and non-members may earn SCECHs for attending NASP Convention Live sessions equivalent to 1-33 hours. Participation will be verified by requiring attendees to complete a Google Form and email certificates of completion for each session after completion of the conference to masp.scech.coordinator@gmail.com no later than Friday March 4th, 2022. MASP no longer charges a fee for SCECHs, nor is there a charge paid to MASP for registration. However, NASP charges between $120 and $519 depending on membership status and registration date.
